Words From the Messenger:

Hello Family,

Believe it or not, time is fast approaching for another G&G Family Reunion!!!! This is just a reminder about our upcoming Family Reunion. On the website, you will be informed of the specifics of it. Please set a good example by reserving and returning the information in a timely fashion. If you are unsure, respond to the best of you ability. One of the most difficult tasks during the past years has been estimating the number of people who will be attending. This may seem like a small issue, but those that have coordinated reunions in the past understand the importance in getting information in a timely matter. This helps the person who is coordinating the reunion to make a successful reunion. We hope everyone can and will attend.

The planning committee has met and we are making all necessary plans for our grand occasion. We are excited about all the family members from various states who say they will be attending the reunion this year.

Our Family colors this year are Navy Blue and White, we are asking the family members/friends to wear those colors on Saturday. 

 

FRIDAY NIGHT – July 21, 2006

                                                                       

Friday night is still designated for our Family Gathering, and Registration. This year we decided to do a Family Flashback, Old Skool Photo Party. Please come prepared for a lot of fun. Please don’t forget to bring your pictures. The registration packet will contain an itinerary of the weekend events. Through out the weekend, pictures will be taken for our G&G 2006 Picture CD.  

 

SATURDAY – July 22, 2006

 

Hospitality Suite (Wingate Inn) will be open for all on Saturday 12:00pm until 3:30pm and we will leave from there to go to the VFW Post………………..

 

We will kick off the reunion with a brief family meeting at the VFW Post, Group/Family /Individual Pictures will be taken. (You do not have to dress to kill, dress to have fun and please don’t forget to wear either a navy blue or white shirt) We are planning to do it up at the VFW Post, cook out, games and dance. Just be ready to drop it like it's hot. There will be several picture packages to purchase and if you are interested in a picture CD of the 2006 Reunion that will be available. All CD’s will have to be mail to you within 2 to 3 weeks.

 

We have chosen our activity to be FEAR FACTOR for Saturday.  We will have real life challenges for both young and old alike.    

 

Saturday night, there will be two prizes given away for Blackout Bingo and Guess What’s in the Can. Certificates/Awards will follow. Come get your grub and dance on…. and this is how we do it in Northern Virginia.

 

 

SUNDAY – July 23, 2006

 

As always, Sunday has been set-aside for family farewell prayer and breakfast. This year we are planning something a little different and have a family breakfast at Perkins Restaurant (now this is not included in the family fees)  

 

For all family members who did not receive a registration form you can retrieve a copy on the registration form page.
